As a child, I enjoyed watching Gene Kelly and his tap dancing in films.
The YouTube video below is the dance number “Moses Supposes” from Singing in the Rain (1952). Gene Kelly and Donald O’Connor are doing highly energetic tap dancing.
From 1930s to 1950s, movie musical was enormously popular. MGM wowed the world with its lavish Technicolor productions featuring singing and dancing. Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire were both great dancers from that era.
Guess what? If you know the keyboard geography, you can try this instead of tap dancing. Tom Hanks and Robert Loggia play a duet performing “Heart & Soul” and “Chopsticks” on a giant floor electronic keyboard in Big (1988).
Years later in 2013, Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock appeared on British talk show The Jonathan Ross Show to recreate the famous scene from Big on a giant floor electronic keyboard by playing a duet performing “Chopsticks”.

I do not dance but I feel like it is something I could do, too. I would be so busy focusing on pressing the right keys with my feet on the giant floor electronic keyboard that I would not be self-conscious about dancing at all.
